Figure 1: Easter in the small village of Sabiñán (Spain) is full of rituals and traditions. On Good Friday there is the traditional procession of the Via Crucis

Figure 2: My first daughter was born in December 2020, when COVID was in full swing. When her grandparents came to visit her for the first time, we had them look at her from behind a glass door.

Figure 3: The Cócora Valley in Colombia is well known for its luxurious vegetation and its coffee plantations. A stunning sunset blessed our visit to a lovely coffee farm.

Figure 4: The feminist march of March 8th 2018 in Barcelona marked a turning point in the public discourse around women’s rights. “Prou” means “Enough” in Catalan.
